What is Integrated Marketing?

Integrated marketing is the strategy of bringing together multiple marketing tools to give the most effective results. Using various methods to market your business is a good thing, but are they all giving the same message? By integrating your marketing you unify all of your activities to make your selling point even stronger.

To make your marketing as effective as possible, the key is not necessarily to deliver them all at once, but to ensure that the same messaging is apparent across them all. The tools available to us now via the internet make integrating many activities really easy. Take a video testimonial –  you can add it to your website to engage with your audience. You can add it to YouTube and optimize the video so it is found more, therefore it’s engaging with a wider audience. By including the video on your website and social media sites it will greatly improve the SEO for your website, and again reach more of your target audience.  You can also use the video in your e-newsletters which gives them greater depth, is again good for SEO and reinforces the message in your newsletter. You can do so much with just this one video.

At Appletree we always make sure our clients marketing activities are integrated. If you would like to contact me on how to better plan or integrate your marketing plan then please email me for more information.
