Websites

When your website needs an update, do you do it yourself or do you have a website specialist doing it? A lot of businesses have to consult the website designer they used to create their website whenever they want an update made. Do you need to keep this web designer on your pay roll though?

Up until a year or so ago websites were only built, edited and updated by web programmers, however now this isn’t the case. Websites such as Drupal and WordPress open up the website industry so you don’t have to be a coding expert to create a website. Websites are now far easier to use thanks to tools such as content management systems (CMS), preferred CMSs at Appletree are WordPress and Drupal.

The main reason you want an easy to use CMS is so you can log in a make the changes yourself. Save yourself some money and do it yourself. By having access to your own website you can also update your SEO regularly, so you can keep up to date with relevant search phrases. You may also write your own content so you can make sure your website delivers the message you want It too.

I spent a lot of time working with websites and am always learning new techniques and skills as I am very keen to develop my knowledge on websites. If you would like to discuss about your website then please send me an email.
