Since 2015 I’ve been researching better ways for businesses to stand out. USPs don’t work. They’re not strong enough to encourage prospects to buy from you, instead of one your competitors.

I set up Appletree Marketing in 2000 and since then have worked with hundreds of organisations of all sizes. I work one-to-one with company Directors and also with customer-facing teams. My third book, which focuses on the Stand Out Strategies, is being published in 2024.

Work takes me all over the world, as I consult with and speak to organisations and audiences that really want to stand out. I am a Fellow of the Professional Speaking Association (PSA) and National President of the organisation for 2023-24.
