Down to Earth Marketing

The first StandOut Strategy, Certainty, is about being a safe pair of hands for your clients. They work with your business because they know that you will get the job done. Your business provides safety and security. Your clients want to feel supported by your business.

Just two months ago, I was driving to deliver a talk on StandOut Strategies. As I was heading up the motorway, I spotted a van with Down to Earth Demolition branding all over it. I loved the play on words and the simplicity of the branding. For me, the name says exactly what the company does – no fancy, flowery cleverness. Just telling us what they do.

When I reached my venue, as soon as I had time, I Googled ‘down to earth demolition’. They were really easy to find on the internet. Having seen the green and black branding on the van, I knew I was on the right website, as it had green and black branding.

The website shouts Certainty – it uses simple, straightforward language. The menu is clear. There are lots of images – in case you’re not sure of the difference between demolishing a building, removing asbestos or supplying aggregates (which probably come from demolishing something!) You don’t have to have a Master’s degree to understand exactly what they do and for whom they do it.

The case studies are written in Certainty language too. “Our client wanted this. So this is what we delivered.” They even tell you how much each project costs, so there are no surprises about the service they provide.
