How To Use a Book as a Business Card

Dear Reader

I sent out the May issue of Scribbles on Wednesday 16 May - without knowing that my website was down! Many apologies if you clicked on the blogs and couldn't see them. It's all working now, so here is the newsletter again!

At Appletree Publications, the publishing 'branch' of Appletree, we're very excited. After a few months of very hard work and tight deadlines, we've just published our first book for a client! 'Social Media Made Simple' is written by Mary Thomas from Concise Training and she does that - makes social media simple! The book contains much of Mary's knowledge to help people get the best from social media.

When you provide a service, like consultancy, coaching or training, you're effectively selling your time and expertise. It can be difficult to package what you do and show your expertise - unless you write a book! Fill the pages with your knowledge and you instantly have a way to show people what you can do.

In this issue of Scribbles I've rounded up some of my favourite blog posts that will help you get started on writing your book and sharing your expertise.

Best wishes,

Chantal
