In the A – Z of Marketing … B is for Banners

Dale (2)In the A – Z of Marketing … B is for Banners

If you ever visit exhibitions or browse stands at shows then chances are you’ve seen banners promoting products and services. Banners are a great way of advertising whilst you’re at events – without having to interact face to face with every person who walks past. Banners can be used in a range of scenarios, whether you’re giving a speech at a workshop or if you’re handing out leaflets and advice at a show.

Some great points about banners …

Professional AT Banner
If done properly with eye catching graphics and information, they can grab the attention of passing potential customers. Without the banner waving in the wind they could walk straight past you.

Quick and Easy
Banners can come in a range of shapes and sizes. The best and easiest to assemble are pop up/roll up banners. Installed in seconds with only one person these banners look great next to your stand.

Targeted
When using your banner at an event or trade show you can be sure that it has been seen by as many people as possible, without wasting your time reaching out to uninterested people.

Customizable
Printing technology has improved vastly over the past years, meaning you can add high definition images and text to your banner.

Banners have clearly caught the eye of a lot of businesses looking for an easy and effective way of showing what they offer in a professional and cost effective way. You can see this by looking at the photos we took at our last ‘Experience Business’ event.  Nearly every stand there had a banner, shouting about what they do and drawing people’s attention

But remember, if you’re using a banner to promote your business, make sure you have the correct information on it. We recently saw a banner for a business prompting people to attend an event on the 20th of October which was months ago. Make sure to keep your banner up to date.

What other forms of advertising do you use at events and shows?
